Use Base Hours to calculate the average rate.
This will use whatever the employee Base Hours is; it does not look at what the employee is paid but just uses the Base Hours from their Base Hours code. By it's nature, the normal expectation is that it uses Overtime as overtime would not be included in an employee's Base Hours. However, some customers do include regular overtime in Base Hours, and if this is the case, then those hours would be included, depending on how the Base Hours is configured.
Calculate the Hours using the actual Hours paid to the employee on the Hours codes configured to add to Average Rates in the Average Rate Rule.
The Daily and Weekly Rates will be calculated for Average Rates 7, 8, 9 during Calculate Average Rates process.
The intention of these Average Daily and Weekly Rates is to pay leave that have been accrued and paid by Days or Weeks.
Prerequisite is PREVAR setting *PP_LEAVE_UNITS = Y (NZ only).
This is set to Hours Type Code which will store the Days Worked used to calculate Daily Average Rate.
Prerequisite is PEP39 Position 15 = A.
The Rate Unit for Average Rate 7 is set to Weekly.
This must be set to W if the PEP39 Position 15 = A.
The Rate Unit for Average Rate 8 is set to Weekly.
This must be set to W if the PEP39 Position 15 = A.
The Rate Unit for Average Rate 9 is set to Daily.
This must be set to D if PEP39 Position 15 =A
This controls the printing of Days Worked transactions in the Time Card Print Report.
Leaving this Blank, the system will include the Days Worked transactions in the Time Card Print Report.
The system will print the Days Worked report.
Note that this report is not yet available.
Prerequisite is Hours Type Code in PEP39 Positions 16-17.
